Riders Edge® New Rider Course With an established curriculum, skilled instructors, and a supportive atmosphere, the New Rider Course is designed to teach those new to motorcycling how to feel comfortable and confident, and ride safely. Come prepared by bringing the following: DOT approved helmet, protective eyewear, full-fingered gloves, over-the-ankle leather boots, jeans, chaps or leather pants, heavy long-sleeved shirt, valid automobile driver’s license or learner's permit, and the ability to ride a bicycle.
Classes total 25 hours and start on Thursday evenings, unless otherwise indicated. Times are Thursday and Friday 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m., Sat. and Sun. 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. and Tuesday 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. for the written test and a graduation ceremony.
Riders Edge® Skilled Rider Course For riders who want a challenge, the Skilled Rider Course will put you and your motorcycle to the test. Courses are offered on scheduled Saturday's from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Participants use their own motorcycles. All makes are welcome.
Come prepared with the following: DOT approved helmet, motorcycle license, proof of valid motorcycle insurance, protective eyewear, motorcycling gloves, long-sleeve shirt or jacket, over-the-ankle boots, and jeans or motorcycling pants.
